How Much Should I Give?

We encourage you to make a a capital campaign commitment that is a true expressions of your commitment to the church – gifts that are significant, meaningful and generous. We often hear people ask, “How much should I give?” Here is some information that we hope will help you answer this important question.
Capital Campaign Commitment
This capital campaign is the opportunity for all generations at Unity Church to step up and take responsibility for ensuring that our beloved institution is strong and vibrant in the future.
One of the biggest things that differentiates a capital campaign from a pledge drive is the numbers. The goal for Unity Tomorrow is $8 million. That’s a big number, and it will only be achieved when everyone at Unity Church is as generous as they can be.

How much is that?
  • We ask you to consider a financial commitment equal to five times your annual operating pledge, payable over three years.
For example, someone pledging $1,500 to the Operating Budget makes a financial commitment to the Capital Campaign five times that amount, which is $7,500. Paid over three years, that’s $208/month.
